The Province of Antwerp has launched a new Innovation Fund to bridge the gap between research and real-world application. Up to €1 million in subsidy is available per innovation project, with €20 million earmarked for the current term. Companies, knowledge institutions, local authorities and student entrepreneurs based in the province may apply. Priority goes to the province's focus sectors — port and logistics, chemicals and life sciences, construction, and the agri-food complex — with emphasis on collaboration, test infrastructure and anchoring innovation in the regional economy. The first call runs from 1 June to 30 September 2026.
