EDIP CPA 2 – second common procurement call

Defence Fund · EU · Deadline Feb 16, 2027

Summary

The second of two EDIP Common Procurement Actions calls, with a deadline of 16 February 2027 (the first closes on 13 October 2026). EDIP invests EUR 240 million in the joint procurement of defence equipment by Member States and Norway, with up to EUR 20 million of EU contribution per project. The aim is less fragmentation and greater interoperability, focusing on counter-drone, air and missile defence and ground and naval combat systems among others. The call builds on EDIRPA (2023), which used EUR 300 million to leverage over EUR 11 billion in joint procurement. For Flemish and Belgian suppliers this is not a direct application: you position yourself through the national contracting authority and the consortium. Participating via a SEAP can unlock bonus funding.
