Two-stage call within the Defence-related Research Action. Pre-proposals were due on 11 September 2026 (14:00); full proposals are due on 16 October 2026 (14:00). A maximum of three pre-proposals per theme are invited to submit a full proposal; those invitations will go out on 25 September 2026. New applicants can therefore no longer enter. Launched on 21 August 2026, the call seeks technology bricks up to TRL 4 for directed-energy Counter-UAS, explicitly covering pulsed microwave (theme 1, EUR 2 million) and waveform-controlled laser (theme 2, EUR 3 million) approaches. Projects run 12 to 18 months. Panel evaluation on 26-27 October 2026, final selection 20 November, communication 23 November and contracts in December 2026.
