An open EUR 4 million call within the Defence-related Research Action, with no fixed themes inside the human factors domain. The call seeks new solutions for the development of defence and security policy and for the optimised functioning and integration of people in complex organisations such as defence, approached from an economic, legal, psychological, sociological, historical or ethical angle. Two-stage procedure: pre-proposals by 19 February 2026, full proposals by 4 May 2026 (14:00); a maximum of ten pre-proposals were invited to submit a full proposal. Results were communicated on 14 September 2026. Projects run for 2 to 4 years. Relevant for Flemish research institutions, social science groups and consultancies with expertise in organisation, law, ethics or behavioural science preparing for the next round.
